Within Australia, sending two copies of the book to a single address costs no more than sending one, i.e. total postage will be $18.80: if your reading is a social – or, indeed, competitive – affair, you might consider pooling resources to reduce postal costs. Contact treadwaterpress@optusnet.com.au for details.
Once upon a time, delivery to Australian capital cities within 2-3 working days of posting could almost be guaranteed. Post-COVID, however, all bets are off – priority mail is still being ‘prioritised’ but typical lag between posting and delivery is, as yet, unknown.
Postal rates for destinations outside Australia are, still, exorbitant. Prices listed above are Australia Post’s current airmail rates. Slightly cheaper, significantly slower international services, including surface mail, are available. Before the present sufferance, customers could expect to wait at least two, perhaps even three, months for delivery of surface mail orders. That may or may not have changed – there are indications that airmail deliveries are only slightly impaired.
